About you

You will be a self-starter with experience of working in a fast-paced finance function and be keen to learn on the job.

  • 2+ years' Payroll experience or 3+ years' experience in a fast-paced finance function and previous exposure to some payroll
  • Experience using Sage and bespoke ERP systems
  • Fast learner
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Confident working to deadlines

About your new job

You will be responsible for bi-weekly and monthly payroll for 300+ staff, as well as assisting in PAYE and pension administration. You will report directly to the CFO and play a vital role for this large organisation. The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:

  1. Full end to end payroll to include:
  • Collating weekly and monthly timesheets
  • Process payroll using Sage
  • Producing payroll reports, payslips
  • BACS payments and full payment submission to HMRC

  1. Processing of starters and leavers to include coding notices and P45's

  1. Payroll year end completion

  1. Completion of wage and salary journals for accounts

  1. Calculate and submit monthly HMRC liability

  1. Administration of yearly pay reviews
