VANRATH are delighted to be recruiting for a Payroll Officer in South Belfast, a fantastic opportunity offering hybrid working and flexibility, with only 2 days in office. The Payroll Officer will report to the Payroll Manager and will process payroll on a weekly basis.

What you'll do

  • Data entry for timesheets into the payroll system
  • Processing the payroll for ROI and UK on a monthly and weekly basis
  • Resolve queries in a timely manner
  • Weekly reports and analysis to review payment and investigating variances
  • Keeping all employee data up to date for new starts and leavers
  • Ad hoc administrative duties within the finance team

About you

This role is ideal for a payroll clerk or payroll admin who is looking for a new challenge.

  • Previous payroll experience at least 1 year
  • Knowledge of payroll legislation for UK and ROI
  • CIPP qualified is desirable
  • Positive attitude and a team player
