About you
If you are an experienced Payroll Clerk and are available to join a worldwide business to assist during a busy period the following would be suitable qualities:
- Proven work experience as a Payroll Clerk or in a similar role.
- Sound knowledge of payroll principles, practices, and regulations.
- Proficiency in payroll software and MS Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work with confidential information.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
What you'll do
As a Payroll Clerk you will:
- Process and maintain accurate records of employee wages, salaries, bonuses, and deductions.
- Calculate and verify payroll data, including hours worked, overtime, and leave balances.
- Prepare and distribute paychecks or direct deposit payments to employees.
- Address and resolve employee inquiries regarding payroll matters.
- Collaborate with HR and finance teams to ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll.
- Assist in reconciling payroll accounts and preparing related reports.
- Stay updated on payroll regulations and compliance requirements.
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive payroll information.
