Are you an experienced Payroll/ Accounts Assistant? This is a brand new position to join a growing team. The client provides services throughout the island of Ireland and is rapidly expanding! This is a unique opportunity to implement a payroll system for a growing company.

The Client

My Client is a growing multi-functional commercial business, providing a wide range or services across Ireland. They are a leading organisation in their field. Due to consistent growth, this role is a newly created opportunity, and a pivotal role to provide the company with operational support. The Finance Officer will assist the Financial Controller with the day to day running of the business and provide important support to the Accountancy Team.

What you'll do

  • Assisting the Financial Controller with payroll administration
  • Assist the Financial controller with implementing the payroll system
  • Manage end to end monthly payroll for c.400 staff
  • Manage onboarding of new starts and off boarding of leavers
  • Manage HMRC queries
  • Calculations of over time, sick leave, maternity and paternity
  • Pensions
  • General ad hoc duties

About You

  • Computer literate, with strong Excel skills
  • Previous experience of Sage 50 and brightpay
  • Confident and professional individual
  • Excellent organisational skills and ability to multi task
  • Strong attention to detail and highly methodical
