Payroll Assistant

VANRATH are delighted to be exclusively partnering with a large manufacturing group who are looking for a new Payroll Assistant to join their payroll team. Reporting to the Payroll Manager, you will be responsible for carrying out end to end payroll on a biweekly and monthly basis for ROI and UK.

What you'll do

* Process weekly, biweekly and monthly payroll

* Ensuring the correct PAYE, National Insurance, etc are processed

* Processing subcontractors invoices and payments

* Process new hires and leavers, calculating statutory payments

* Preparation of P45s, P60s when required

* Assist with year-end

* Deal with payroll queries promptly and effectively

* Ensure confidentiality of personal data

* Accurately record sickness, maternity, paternity and sick leave

About you

  • Previous experience in payroll at least 2 years
  • Up to date knowledge of payroll procedures and related laws with UK and ROI
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team and meet deadlines
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent communication skills
