Parts Advisor - Ballyclare

VANRATH have partnered with one of Northern Ireland's most established Heavy Vehicle Dealerships. The organisation is recruiting a Parts Advisor position.

This is a fantastic opportunity for any experienced individual to join a longstanding company that offers many routes for progression.

Permanent role - Monday - Friday

Place of work is Templepatrick (Ballyclare)

Salary

Negotiable + Fantastic benefits (see attached), company pension scheme, progression

Responsibilities:

• Handling enquiries and processing orders from retail customers and the in-house workshop via phone, in person, email, and other communication channels
• Proactively selling and upselling parts to both new and existing customers while building strong customer relationships
• Maintaining an accurate and efficient stock control system
• Receiving, checking, and accurately storing incoming stock
• Picking parts from inventory for dispatch or internal use
• Performing regular stock inventory checks and management
• Carrying out all administrative tasks related to parts ordering and returns
• Managing warranty and return claims for parts within required timeframes
• Supporting the efficient day-to-day operation of the Parts Department
• Ensuring customer requirements are met and appropriate solutions are provided
• Performing other duties appropriate to the role as required

The Ideal Candidate:

• Previous experience within a similar position (Agri / heavy plant / motor trade)
• Ability to communicate effectively at all levels, both internally and externally, in a professional manner
• Being accountable
• A full driving licence
