Part-Time Bookkeeper
Salary & Benefits
- Competitive salary of £28,000 per annum (pro rata)
- Flexible 15 hours per week over 3 days

About you
- A minimum of 5 GCSEs (grades A-C), including Maths and English, or equivalent
- Proven experience (at least 3 years) in a similar bookkeeping role
- AAT or equivalent bookkeeping qualification preferred
- Skilled in using accounting software and MS Office
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and initiative
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative spirit
- Discretion and respect for confidentiality
What you'll do
- Manage all aspects of the organisation's financial accounts, including multiple bank accounts and project funds
- Perform regular bookkeeping duties, bank reconciliations, and prepare reports against budgets
- Oversee petty cash and coordinate with staff for supply ordering
- Collaborate on annual budget preparation and monthly financial reporting
- Prepare for audits, liaise with external accountants, and ensure compliance with all financial policies
- Manage Gift Aid submissions and oversee the transfer of mission donations
- Support ad hoc financial duties as needed to meet evolving community needs
