Family Law Paralegal | Bangor | £28,000 - £30,000
We are delighted to partner with a reputable and well-established law firm in Bangor to recruit an experienced Family Law Paralegal. This is an exciting opportunity to join a respected legal practice known for its expertise in family and matrimonial law, providing high-quality legal services with a client-focused approach.
The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting solicitors across a range of family law matters, including divorce, child custody, financial settlements, and domestic abuse cases. Applicants must have prior experience in family law, with a strong understanding of legal procedures in matrimonial and child law cases.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist solicitors in managing and progressing family law cases, including legal research, discovery, and trial preparation.
- Draft legal documents, including witness statements, affidavits, and court pleadings.
- Liaise with clients, counsel, courts, and third parties, ensuring smooth communication and case progression.
- Attend court hearings and settlement discussions alongside solicitors.
- Provide administrative and legal support, ensuring the efficient management of caseloads.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working in a family law role is essential.
- Strong knowledge of matrimonial and child law procedures.
- Excellent communication and client care skills, with the ability to handle sensitive cases professionally.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- High level of attention to detail and organisational skills.
