Oracle Data Conversion Lead (Contract) - Hybrid Belfast


My client is a global consultancy seeking an Oracle Data Conversion Lead to join their team in Belfast on a contract basis. This hybrid role requires on site collaboration with the client weekly, but offers the flexibility for remote work, with the potential for contract extension based on performance and project needs.

The Role


As an Oracle Data Conversion Lead, you will play a key role in managing and executing data migration processes for Oracle Fusion projects. You'll lead data conversion efforts, ensuring seamless migration from legacy systems to Oracle Fusion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define data migration strategies and requirements.
  • Design efficient data conversion workflows for Oracle Fusion implementation.
  • Develop data mapping documents, cleansing procedures, and conversion scripts.
  • Lead ETL activities using Oracle Fusion Data Loader and other tools.
  • Ensure data quality and integrity throughout the migration process.
  • Develop and execute test plans, validate and reconcile migrated data.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve data migration issues.
  • Coordinate with technical teams for custom data migration scripts.
  • Document processes and best practices for data conversion.

Your Profile:


We are looking for someone with:

  • Proven experience in data conversion and migration projects, ideally with Oracle Fusion.
  • Expertise in data migration methodologies and Oracle Fusion Data Conversion.
  • Experience with Oracle Fusion Data Loader or similar tools.
  • Knowledge of FBDI, ADFdi, REST API, and VBAFE tools.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Location:

  • Belfast, Northern Ireland (Hybrid - Weekly onsite meetings required)
