Job description

This is a full-time, permanent position based in Craigavon. Monday to Friday working pattern.

The Role

This is a pivotal position within the business, where you will operate alongside senior leadership to ensure the smooth execution of contracts and day-to-day service delivery. You'll be responsible for overseeing workflow, coordinating field teams, and driving operational improvements across the board.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Organising and assigning technical staff to meet project timelines and service requests

  • Managing the supply and availability of equipment, stock, and fleet resources

  • Monitoring ongoing work to ensure deadlines, standards, and budgets are met

  • Refining processes and implementing efficient systems across field and office functions

  • Acting as a liaison point between clients, project teams, and contractors

  • Assisting in preparing cost estimates, project outlines, and basic pricing documents

  • Supporting internal HR processes including documentation, compliance, and reporting

  • Managing procurement schedules and stock levels to avoid delays or overages

  • Overseeing records management for certification, training, and compliance adherence

  • Coordinating operational Health & Safety standards and best practice across the team


Candidate Profile

Essential Criteria:

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in an operations, scheduling, or coordination role (ideally within technical services, construction, or engineering environments)

  • High attention to detail, strong time management skills, and ability to prioritise multiple projects

  • Practical knowledge of IT systems including spreadsheets, CRM, and workflow platforms

  • Strong interpersonal skills and experience dealing with internal teams and external clients

  • Flexible and proactive approach with a natural problem-solving mindset

Desirable:

  • Industry experience in structured cabling, utilities, or infrastructure

  • Familiarity with scheduling or job-tracking platforms (e.g., JobWatch, Commusoft, simPRO)

  • Exposure to compliance, quality assurance frameworks, or audit procedures
