Role Overview:
As an Operations Manager, you will report directly to the Operations Director and be responsible for the seamless scheduling of works, managing a team of 30-40 operatives, and overseeing both Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive work. You will also be tasked with managing and exceeding budgets, ensuring all projects are completed to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Management: Lead and motivate a team of 30-40 operatives, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Scheduling: Efficiently plan and schedule works to meet project deadlines and operational needs.
- Budget Management: Oversee and manage budgets, ensuring financial targets are met and exceeded.
- PPM & Reactive Work: Supervise the execution of PPM and reactive maintenance tasks, ensuring high-quality outcomes.
- Reporting: Provide detailed reports to the Operations Director on team performance, project progress, and financial status.
Criteria:
- Driver's License: Full clean driver's license required
- Experience: Proven experience in a demanding role at management level
- Organisational Skills: Excellent organisational abilities
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of admin, planning, and scheduling
- Communication: Outstanding communication skills
- Attitude: Positive, can-do approach
- Industry Knowledge: Understanding of construction and maintenance
- Customer Service: Exceptional customer service skills
- Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively within a team
