People Operations Coordinator
VANRATH is delighted to be partnering with a leading global organisation (client confidential) to recruit a People Operations Coordinator. This is an excellent opportunity to join a high-performing HR function within a dynamic, international business known for its strong culture and employee-first approach.
The Role
As a People Operations Coordinator, you will play a key role in delivering a seamless, high-touch onboarding experience for new hires across all levels of the organisation. Working closely with recruiters, hiring managers, and cross-functional teams, you will ensure onboarding processes are efficient, compliant, and aligned with best practice.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate pre-hire onboarding activities across EMEA, APAC, and North America.
Partner with IT, Workplace, Payroll, and HR teams to ensure all new starters are fully set up for day one.
Manage onboarding documentation, including background checks, tax forms, and compliance requirements.
Act as the main point of contact for onboarding queries from both new hires and internal stakeholders.
Deliver Day 1 onboarding activities and ensure a positive employee experience.
Maintain accurate records in HR systems (including HiBob) and screening platforms.
Support wider HR and Talent projects such as audits, process improvements, and documentation updates.

Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Excellent communication skills with a candidate-first mindset.
Proven ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders.
High attention to detail and a proactive, problem-solving approach.
Professional and discreet when handling sensitive information.
Proficient in Microsoft Office 365.
Essential Criteria
Minimum of 3 years' experience in onboarding, HR coordination, Talent Operations, or a similar HR role.
Experience using ATS and HRIS systems (HiBob and Vero experience advantageous).
Good understanding of onboarding compliance, including background checks and right-to-work processes.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (CIPD accreditation desirable).

Competitive salary of £28,000 - £32,000.
