Office Manager

Vanrath are partnering with a local client based in Greater Belfast/East Antrim seeking to take on board an Office Manager into their growing team.

This role is ideal candidate should be able to immediately assume responsibility for supervising other staff members within the department, liaising with the company directors to ensure the firm as a whole is ran smoothly and professionally.

Responsibilities

• To ensure the smooth running of the operations department at all times and deal with any problems quickly and effectively.
• To manage and co-ordinate additional staff members through delegation of work and projects
• To carry out work under minimal supervision and within acceptable deadlines.
• To assist with arising tasks as and when necessary.
• To work directly with clients via telephone, email, face-to-face appointments, and other forms of communication.
• Maintenance of New Client Process, on-boarding of companies, individuals and partnerships through a variety of processes
• Implementing and maintaining office procedures and administrative systems.
• To communicate professionally with clients as well as colleagues.
• To deal directly with HMRC with reference to any queries or issues that may arise.
• Prepare and analyse data for internal company accounts; processing sales invoices, payments
• Work with accountancy software such as Sage and IRIS.
• Any other duties reasonably requested by the firm.

Criteria

• A minimum of three years' experience working in an office environment
• Previous management experience.
• A minimum of five GCSEs A*-C including English and Maths (or equivalent).
• Applicant should be fully computer literate and should have experience of Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Ability to work unsupervised and use your own initiative.
• Experience using accounting software such as Sage, Xero & Quickbooks
