Summary
VANRATH has partnered with a long-established organisation in Greater Belfast to recruit an Organisational Development Specialist. This role focuses on driving organisational effectiveness, culture, and capability through targeted OD and change initiatives, working closely with senior leaders and HR to support strategic and operational priorities.

What do you need?

  • Experience in Organisational Development, change management, or a related HR specialism
  • Strong understanding of OD frameworks, organisational design, culture, engagement, and capability development
  • Experience designing and delivering initiatives such as leadership development, digital upskilling, and workforce planning
  • Knowledge of recruitment strategies and ability to support workforce capability needs
  • Excellent stakeholder management, facilitation, and communication skills at all levels
  • Ability to analyse data, identify organisational issues, and provide practical, business-aligned solutions

What you will do each day

  • Partner with senior leaders and HR to assess organisational effectiveness, culture, and workforce capability, identifying priorities aligned to business strategy
  • Design and deliver OD interventions including organisational design, change management, leadership development, and digital upskilling programmes
  • Support recruitment strategies and workforce planning to ensure the organisation has the right skills for current and future needs
  • Facilitate workshops, focus groups, and leadership sessions to support culture change, collaboration, and high performance
  • Use data and diagnostics to evaluate organisational health, measure impact, and inform continuous improvement
  • Develop and maintain OD frameworks, tools, and guidance to embed best practice across the organisation
  • Provide coaching and support to managers and leaders on people and organisational development matters
  • Collaborate with HR colleagues, external consultants, and industry experts to deliver complex change initiatives
