Newly Qualified Corporate Solicitor
The Opportunity
An international law firm with a strong and growing corporate practice is looking to recruit a Newly Qualified Corporate Solicitor to join its team. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious NQ to gain hands-on experience across a broad range of corporate transactions, working closely with experienced lawyers on high-quality, often cross-border matters.
The firm is keen to invest in someone at the early stages of their career who is technically strong, commercially minded, and motivated by long-term progression within a global practice.
The Role
You will support senior colleagues on a wide variety of corporate and transactional work, gaining exposure to the full lifecycle of deals. The role offers early responsibility, structured supervision, and excellent training, making it ideal for an NQ looking to build a strong foundation in corporate law.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting on corporate transactions, including acquisitions, disposals and investments
- Supporting due diligence exercises and managing data rooms
- Drafting and reviewing transaction documents and ancillary agreements
- Assisting with corporate governance, restructurings and general advisory work
- Liaising with clients, counterparties and professional advisers
- Supporting deal execution and transaction management
The Ideal Candidate
- Newly Qualified Solicitor (or qualifying shortly)
- Completed a corporate seat during training, or demonstrated strong interest in corporate work
- Commercially aware with strong drafting and organisational skills
- Confident, proactive and keen to take on responsibility
- Enjoys working as part of a collaborative, international team
