VANRATH are recruiting a NPI Design Engineer to provide applied technical knowledge and innovation to the advancement of our clients product portfolio.

Opportunity

The successful candidate will be placed on an immediate Development pathway, understudying the company's Technical Director with the intention of taking over this position in the next few years.

Remuneration
£36,000 to £42,000 DOE

Main Responsibilities

• Design PVC extrusion profiles
• Design injection moulded components
• Design aluminium extrusion profiles
• Design fabricated components / test structures
• Testing products using in-house equipment
• Assist with investigations in quality failures
• Write detailed product documentation
• Factory layout plans
• 3D Printing Prototypes

The Ideal Person:

• Minimum 2 years Design experience in Manufacturing
• Third level qualification in Engineering related field
• Proficient in Solidworks and AutoCAD
