Newly Qualified Accountant (Belfast City Centre)

VANRATH are delighted to be working in partnership with a global business based in Craigavon to recruit a Newly Qualified/Financial Accountant to join the group finance team. Reporting to the Senior Manager the GL Accountant would suit a technically strong accountant keen to gain experience within a fast paced commercial environment.

About you

  • Qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA or equivalent)
  • Strong technical knowledge of IFRS
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, ability to deal with senior stakeholders

What you'll do

  • Provide accurate and timely financial information to key stakeholders within Record to Report
  • Th GL accountant will work closely with site accountants to deliver on the financial performance of the business unit and subsequent reporting.
  • The GL accountant will have excellent ERP & IT skills and be able to leverage on these to deliver solutions to issues arising.
  • This role is an interesting and diverse role and will suit someone who is flexible and adept at problem solving.
  • The role will feed into ensuring that all relevant Sox controls are completed in the area
