VANRATH are delighted to be partnering with a fast moving homeware/fabrications company who have grown massively over the last few years with the Recruitment of a Category Manager to join a growing and dynamic company based in Newry.

Category Manager - New Product Launch (Homewares)
Full-time | Senior Role | NI (Hybrid)

Overview:
We're looking for a commercially driven Category Manager to lead the launch and scale-up of our new homewares range - starting with cushions and throws. This role blends strategic thinking, product development, and data-led decision-making to build a best-in-class category from the ground up.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead category vision, strategy, and product roadmap
  • Develop and launch product lines based on trend, performance data, and customer insight
  • Own category P&L: pricing, margin, sales, promotions
  • Manage supplier relationships, negotiate pricing and packaging
  • Monitor category performance and deliver actionable insights
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with design, marketing, and operations

Requirements:

  • 3-5+ years' experience in category management, buying, or merchandising
  • Strong analytical and commercial acumen
  • Skilled in supplier negotiation and sourcing
  • Knowledge of homewares or interiors market a plus
  • Comfortable in fast-paced, product-led environments
