Category Manager - New Product Launch (Homewares)
Full-time | Senior Role | NI (Hybrid)
Overview:
We're looking for a commercially driven Category Manager to lead the launch and scale-up of our new homewares range - starting with cushions and throws. This role blends strategic thinking, product development, and data-led decision-making to build a best-in-class category from the ground up.
Responsibilities:
- Lead category vision, strategy, and product roadmap
- Develop and launch product lines based on trend, performance data, and customer insight
- Own category P&L: pricing, margin, sales, promotions
- Manage supplier relationships, negotiate pricing and packaging
- Monitor category performance and deliver actionable insights
- Collaborate cross-functionally with design, marketing, and operations
Requirements:
- 3-5+ years' experience in category management, buying, or merchandising
- Strong analytical and commercial acumen
- Skilled in supplier negotiation and sourcing
- Knowledge of homewares or interiors market a plus
- Comfortable in fast-paced, product-led environments
