Are you an experienced Networks & Security Officer looking a new opportunity in one of Northern Ireland's largest Public Sector organisations? Do you have experience in LAN/WAN networks and DNS / DHCP expertise? VANRATH is delighted to be recruiting for a 6 Month Initial Contract based out of the Ballymena area.
Salary/ Benefits
Equivalent to Band 6, Point 1 on the HSCNI Pay Scale - £33,706 per Annum (+ Holiday Pay & Pension)

The Ideal Person
An ICT related university degree or relevant professional ICT qualification and some experience in the last 4 years in an ICT Network/Security technical role
OR
3 years experience within the last 5 years in an ICT Network/Security technical role. Only those applicants who state clearly on their application form that they have the required level of qualification/experience will be considered for interview.
Have technical knowledge of ICT security technologies. E.g. Antivirus toolsets, Email Security Management (either cloud on On-premise),
Current full driving licence. Access to a car on appointment. This criteria will be waived in the case of applicants whose disability prohibits driving but who have access to a form of transport approved by the Trust which will permit them to carry out the duties of this post.
Responsibilities
The post holder will assist in the support, delivery and management of ICT Data Network Services and ICT Security within the Trust. The post holder will also assist in the design, capacity, availability, security and continuity of the Trust Data Local Area Networks, Wide Area Network, Wireless Networks and Remote Access services. He/she will assist in providing advice on the design and implementation of Data Networking and ICT Security aspects of ICT solutions.
