Job Description
We're actively seeking a highly skilled and seasoned Senior Reliability Network Engineer to become a vital part of our global financial organization.
This pivotal role involves spearheading the creation of a suite of tailored automation tools, alongside fostering the growth of our network services team. Together, they aim to establish one of the largest exchange network infrastructures worldwide.
Responsibilities:
- Drive automation solutions with a code-first approach.
- Develop and maintain network automation tools, including inventory reconciliation, workflow automation, and health monitoring.
- Implement automated solutions for network performance optimization and issue resolution.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Provide self-service troubleshooting tools for network-related issues.
- Collaborate on end-to-end process automation within the network infrastructure.
- Create services with API-driven integration for seamless operation.
- Identify and automate repetitive tasks for process enhancement.
- Lead build release pipeline development and implementation.
- Prioritize backlogs and manage implementations in collaboration with the team and stakeholders.
- Track infrastructure delivery and dependencies for successful implementation.
- Communicate implementation challenges, delays, and mitigation plans.
- Drive innovation for process and deployment improvement.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on Python experience.
- Proficiency in network automation and orchestration tools (e.g., Ansible, Itential, Nautobot).
- Practical experience with network monitoring tools.
- Strong understanding of Network Domain fundamentals.
- Knowledge of Network Asset and Configuration management processes.
- Familiarity with SDLC and Agile methodologies.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
Preferred:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science.
