Network Engineer - Team Leader

Job Description

VANRATH are pleased to be working with a leading telecommunications company in the UK as they expand their Network Engineering team. The network support lead will be responsible for managing the organisations MPLS, SD-WAN and UC platforms. This is an opportunity to work on a hybrid basis (2 days in office, 3 days from home).

The Role

  • Management of network support team
  • Ensuring KPI's and customer SLA's are met
  • Point of escalation for junior members of the team
  • Allocate day-to-tasks and operational workload to network engineers
  • Contribute to the development of operational systems and processes

The Ideal Person

  • Experience in a technical team lead/ management position
  • MPLS/SD-WAN technology experience
  • Juniper and Fortinet network solutions
  • Circuit supplier engagement experience
  • experience with ISO & ITIL standards
  • CCNP/ Juniper/ Fortinet certifications all desirable
