Overview

My client is currently modernising their IT Infrastructure across their sites in Northern Ireland and have a requirement for a Network Engineer to install new Cisco switches throughout the network. You'll be joining a wider Infrastructure team of around 100 IT engineers which consists of Support, Server, Network, Deployment and Systems Engineers.

About you

  • Network Engineer experience including installation of Cisco switches and cable management.

Or

  • IT Networking Degree/HND
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of cisco configuration/set up.
  • Understanding of cable management and installing cisco switches throughout a network
  • Placement/hands on experience of cisco switches would be great to have.

What you'll do as a Network Engineer

  • Installation and configuration of new Cisco Switches throughout the network
  • May involve decommissioning old switches.
  • General network maintenance / support
  • May have opportunity to support with deployments.
