Mid-Level DevOps Engineer

VANRATH are pleased to be working with a number of companies from financial, product, media etc who are looking for Mid-Level DevOps engineers. The companies have a mixture of working environments with some remote first and some Hybrid. All opportunities come with salaries ranging from 50-70k depending on experience and so we have possibilities for all levels.

The Role

The roles are all looking for similar background with candidates with experience in CI/CD, Python scripting, terraform and some cloud background ideally AWS but Azure and GCP opportunities are also available.

The person

  • Deep understanding of 'DevOps' principles in general
  • Platforms; Windows Server, AWS, Linux
  • Proficiency in at least one of the following scripting languages; Python, PowerShell, Bash, Groovy
  • Developer tooling; Full stack CI/CD, GitLab, TFS, SVN, Jenkins, CloudBees, Jira, AWS services, Ansible, AppDynamics, EKS
  • Knowledge and working experience of containerising application components including writing DockerFile and container deployment manifests
  • Deep understanding of Jenkins and pipelines as code
  • Experience of working with agile teams
  • Experience with multi-tier architectures: load balancers, web servers, application servers, databases, and networking



Remuneration

He salary is negotiable on the role depending on experience but would be in the range of around 50-70k. Also on top of that would be a great package with bonus, health care etc and also the opportunity of full time remote work and a budget to set up a home office.
