Medical Device Sales (Car)(Belfast)

Job Description

VANRATH has partnered with a market-leading company that service and supply equipment, reagents and consumables to the Healthcare and Life sciences industries.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join and lead a dynamic sales team and have ownership of both new and existing sales business.

Salary: £30,000-£45,000 + OTE of £15,000.

Highly dependant on experience.


Responsibilities:

  • Develop a growth strategy focused on both financial gain and customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs
  • Arrange business meetings with prospective clients.
  • Promote the company`s products / services, addressing or predicting customers objectives
  • Prepare sales contracts ensuring adherence to law established rules and guidelines
  • Maintain records of sales, revenue etc and present the same
  • Provide trustworthy feedback and after sales support
  • Build long term relationships with new and existing customers
  • Mentor Associate Product Specialist/ Product Specialist to target including goal setting, training and coaching.
  • Be familiar of competitor activity and product ranges
  • Attend and promote the company and its products at trade exhibitions
  • Identify, research and negotiate new supplier agreements
  • Participate in sales meetings and/or promotional activities
  • Contribute to the wider company goals by becoming involved in internal cross functional teams



The Ideal Person:

  • Relevant qualification to degree level in a scientific or related field
  • Proven working experience as a business development manager, sales executive or a relevant role
  • Experience in the medical devices industry
  • Ability to coach and mentor junior product specialists
  • Exceptional commercial ability, capable of negotiating and executing on significant commercial deals
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively at all levels in and outside the company
