About you:

  • Degree, HND, or HNC in Engineering, Construction or related field
  • At least 8 years of proven project management experience in industrial or Facilities Management environments, with a focus on Mechanical systems
  • Strong technical knowledge across building, civil, electrical, and mechanical disciplines
  • Excellent planning, organisation, and risk mitigation skills
  • Skilled in MS Office, project management software (e.g., MS Project, Wrike, Asana), and AutoCAD
  • Demonstrated experience managing multi-contract projects in live, safety-critical environments
  • Knowledge of health & safety legislation, CDM regulations, and compliance standards
  • Relevant project management certifications such as PRINCE2, PMP, or APM are desirable
  • IOSH or NEBOSH qualifications are a plus

What you'll do:

  • Lead and manage multiple projects from initial feasibility through design, procurement, installation, commissioning, and handover
  • Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring projects remain on track and within scope
  • Oversee technical design reviews, ensuring engineering standards and industry regulations are met
  • Manage on-site teams, contractors, and external consultants, coordinating activities to minimise operational disruption
  • Liaise with stakeholders, providing clear updates on project progress, costs, and risks
  • Monitor project safety and compliance, enforcing safety standards and statutory regulations
  • Identify and mitigate risks proactively, ensuring successful project delivery within safety and quality standards
  • Prepare and present business cases for capital investments, supporting strategic decision-making
