Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

About the Role:
We are looking for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical equipment to ensure smooth plant operations. This role requires expertise in mechanical systems, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive maintenance to ensure equipment reliability.
• Diagnose and repair issues with pumps, motors, conveyors, etc.
• Inspect equipment and ensure safety and performance standards.
• Maintain records of maintenance activities and prepare reports.
• Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and other departments.
• Manage spare parts inventory and coordinate replenishment.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements.
• Follow health, safety, and environmental procedures.
• Respond promptly to mechanical breakdowns.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Education: Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years in mechanical maintenance, preferably in industrial settings.
• Technical Skills:
  • Expertise in mechanical systems and equipment.
  • Skilled in troubleshooting and repair.
  • Familiar with CMMS and mechanical drawings.
• Certifications: Relevant certifications preferred.
• Other: Strong problem-solving, communication, and time management skills. Able to work in industrial environments.
