Are you looking for a Mechanical Estimator role? Interested in working for a leading mechanical engineering contractor.
VANRATH are recruiting a Mechanical Estimator to work on innovative and sustainable projects across the island of Ireland
Key Responsibilities:
- Analysing drawings and prepare and maintain cost estimates for review and tender submission.
- Coordinate within the Design, Commercial and Engineering teams in preparation for tender review and sign off.
- Able to produce own take offs
- Able to work independently and within a team
- Happy to attend all mid and post tender meetings
- Liaising with current and new clients
- Updating tender documents via companies system
- To be involved with the complete cycle of the tender process
The Ideal Person:
- 3 + years' experience working as an Estimator, ideally in a mechanical setting
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Proficiency in cost estimation and financial analysis.
- Commercial experience required
- Computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
