The role is permanent, full-time, based in Limavady, working Monday to Friday.

Role Overview
We are seeking a dependable and organised Materials & Inventory Coordinator to take ownership of stock control, material distribution, and the efficient running of the stores function. This hands-on role will support both workshop and on-site operations, ensuring materials are in the right place at the right time to meet project demands.


Main Duties

  • Accept, check, and record all deliveries; maintain accurate stock records

  • Ensure correct storage, labelling, and organisation of materials

  • Allocate items to active projects and notify relevant teams when received

  • Prepare outgoing goods and arrange transport as required

  • Maintain a clean and orderly workshop and yard environment

  • Operate forklift equipment for loading/unloading (training provided if needed)

  • Liaise with suppliers regarding collections, deliveries, and schedules

  • Support the introduction of lean stock control systems, including Kanban methods

  • Work to all health, safety, and quality standards at all times


Essential Criteria

  • Experience in a stores, warehouse, or materials handling position

  • Strong organisational skills and effective communication abilities

  • Valid forklift licence (or willingness to undertake training)

  • IT literate with experience using inventory software and Microsoft Office

  • Full UK driving licence

  • Familiarity with engineering or construction materials is an advantage
