Master Data Specialist (£60k+) (Prestigious Company)

Job Description

VANRATH are delighted to be assisting a prestigious Food based Company in NI and Ireland with the recruitment of a Master Data Manager . This is a prestigious organisation and the successful individual will reap the rewards of a company that is thriving and places immense value on their staff.

Salary

£50,000 - £60,000 (can be negotiated higher) + Fantastic Benefits Package (Room for Negotiation above £60k for right individual)

Job Purpose

  • Holds overall responsibility for development and execution of the process excellence strategy across the companies Shared Services Company within Master Data (a 5-year transformation plan).
  • Holds ultimate accountability for the Master Data Management Process Model, reviews and approves all changes to the model, ensures model is up to date and reflects available best practices from the market.
  • Drives a continuous improvement culture within the companies Shared Services and across the Business Units.
  • Ensures solutions design and functional specifications are delivered according to agreed policy, driving the highest standards of data governance.

The Ideal Person:

  • What You'll Need
  • An excellent understanding of Master Data stewardship and maintenance processes, ideally with workflow solutions, and in an ERP-environment (ideally SAP).
  • A minimum 7 years' experience in a BPO or SSC organisation, or similar scale Finance function, including AR and Credit Control, with solid experience in managing teams of 10+
  • To be an experienced and strong manager or senior team leader
  • To be a collaborative team player, with a flexible and analytical approach.
  • The ability to influence senior management colleagues, with good client-facing skills and strong presentational skills.
  • Change management skills and demonstrable experience implementing new processes, improving the overall Master Data process.
  • The ability to deliver to tight deadlines and to be resilient, capable of prioritising regularly to meet the needs of a fast-paced dynamic environment.
