Job Title: Marketing Manager
Location: Belfast
Salary: £33,552 - £36,804
Hours: 35 per week, Monday - Friday (Hybrid working with at least 2 days in the office per week)
Reports To: Director of Growth & Engagement
Job Purpose:
Lead the development and execution of mass marketing activities to grow the supporter base and maximise individual donor value.
Main Responsibilities:
Strategy & Management:
- Develop a multi-year plan for individual giving and legacy marketing.
- Monitor budgets and ensure compliance with organisational processes.
- Line manage the Supporter Care Assistant.
- Maintain excellent relationships across the team.
- Handle specific projects and opportunities as assigned.
- Ensure activities comply with fundraising codes and organisational values.
- Represent the organisation externally at meetings and conferences.
- Stay updated on fundraising and marketing sector trends.
Supporter Marketing & Care:
- Develop initiatives and campaigns to attract, retain, and upgrade donors via direct mail, email, and social media.
- Identify and test new acquisition channels.
- Diversify income streams through digital channels.
- Evaluate campaign success and recommend future strategies.
- Develop strategies for mid and high-value givers.
Legacy Marketing:
- Develop and execute strategies to promote legacy giving.
- Monitor legacy administration in collaboration with the finance team.
Collaboration & Communication:
- Work closely with the Communication & Digital team to align messaging.
- Develop content to secure new support and retain donors.
Essential Criteria:
- At least 3 years of experience in a fundraising, brand, or marketing role.
- Proven track record of exceeding targets.
- Ability to write engaging copy for varied audiences.
- Experience with CRM systems and process management.
- Experience in budget and project management.
- Strong knowledge of digital marketing tactics.
Desirable Criteria:
- Experience in a fundraising/charity context.
