The Role

Reporting to Power NI's Commercial Marketing Manager, the Marketing Executive sits within the Brand Team of the Customer Solutions Marketing Department. The successful candidate will play a key role in taking the lead and executing B2B marketing and communications activity for Business & Farm Energy.

You will have the opportunity to have a direct impact on the retention and acquisition strategy for commercial customers as well as supporting with Home Energy marketing projects and other Power NI communications activity from time to time.

Responsibilities

  • Developing and executing business and farm marketing campaigns across online and offline channels
  • Creating and implementing commercial customer communications, including direct mail and email marketing
  • Managing relationships and overseeing marketing and communications activity with external advertising, design, brand, digital, PR and print agencies
  • Creating content for digital channels and managing social media advertising
  • Assisting with commercial sponsorships, local business partnerships and attending industry events
  • Developing PR campaigns, writing press releases and maintaining a high profile within the local business and farm sectors
  • Coordinating the design and production of advertising, promotional and marketing materials
  • Campaign evaluation reporting, including website traffic trends and usage using Google Analytics
  • Ensuring all marketing activity is compliant with relevant codes of practice



The Ideal Person

  • 3+ years' experience taking the lead on marketing/ communications campaigns and projects, ideally within B2B
  • Experience in the use of design and content to drive effectiveness of communications and campaigns
  • Experience using a website content management system and social media channels
  • Experience working with external partners and agencies
  • Experience managing social media advertising campaigns across Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn (desirable)
  • Educated to degree in a business/ marketing related subject (desirable)
