Manufacturing Engineer (Antrim)
Our client is a bespoke manufacturer of high-quality vehicles within the equestrian, commercial and leisure vehicle markets. They are going through considerable growth at the minute and now have the need for a Manufacturing Engineer. With this being a small to medium sized local business, there is a real family business feeling with everyone pulling together to get projects complete. It is also a company where you are not just another number, every employee is critical to the team.

About your next role Our client has a need for a Manufacturing Engineer to join the team due to the production levels increasing. This role will be suited to an enthusiastic individual who is happy to get their hands on the tools when needed but also be familiar with CAD, building of jigs and quality control.

About you

  • Ability to read engineering drawings
  • Knowledge of Lean manufacturing techniques
  • Be able to show a range of experience in manufacturing processes
  • Open to managing multiple projects at once
  • Analytic skills
  • Knowledge of CAD drawing packages (Desirable)
  • Full EU/UK Drivers license
  • Be willing to help out across the business if needed

What you'll do

  • Provide CAD support and guidance to production and assembly technicians
  • Update all information regarding the process of production
  • Control the build procedures and update when needed
  • Support the ops management in implementing Lean tools & techniques
  • Design and oversee the build of jigs, templates, tooling and fixtures
  • Ensure work is completed to ISO9001 standards
  • Meet with compliance authorities to ensure specifications are met
  • Occasional driving of vehicles
