VANRATH are pleased to be working with a successful distribution business in Belfast who operate across the UK. Are you a Management Accountant who is interested in working with a growing business who work in a niche section of the market?

As the Management Accountant you will be responsible for ensuring the monthly accounts are prepared in line with month end schedules, ensuring clear commentary provided for the senior management team. This role is due to sustainable growth and is an urgent post for the business, it will initially begin as an interim contract with the view to become permanent.

About you

• Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA) or Qualified by Experience
• Experience of management accounts
• Advanced Excel skills
• Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy and productivity
• Strong organisational skills and an ability to work in a deadline driven environment

What you'll do

• Preparation of monthly management accounts
• Balance sheet reconciliation
• Financial analysis and reporting
• Review costs and implement cost saving measures
• Variance analysis
• Year-end financial statements
• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets
