VANRATH are delighted to be partnered with a leading Global Tech business who are currently recruiting a Management Accountant to join their team on a maternity cover contract. Initially this role will be for a period of 12 months, with the view to extension. With the planned growth across the organisation, there is potential to secure a permanent contract for the right individual.

Reporting to the Finance Director, the Management Accountant will be responsible for assisting in the preparation of monthly management accounts, preparation of variance analysis and balance sheet reviews. This is an opportunity to join a large business who are renowned for being market leaders within their field.

About you

• Qualified Accountant with 2+ years post qualified experience
• Management accounting experience
• Excellent communication skills, an ability to influence and negotiate
• High level reporting skills, ideally with previous experience in a group setting
• Strong IT skills including MS Excel
• Available at shot notice

What you'll do

• Assisting in the preparation of monthly management accounts in a complex environment
• Preparation of variance analysis on business performance
• Financial analysis of trends within financial performance, to assist with business decisions
• Month end accounting journals
• Balance sheet reconciliations
