Commercial Management Accountant (Belfast)

VANRATH are delighted to be working exclusively with a prestigious NI business based in Greater Belfast to recruit a commercially astute Management Accountant for a period of 12 months to cover a period of maternity. This would be an ideal role for a newly/recently qualified accountant to gain invaluable commercial experience in a market leading business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and analyse monthly management accounts, ensuring accuracy and timely reporting.
  • Management of assets and liabilities including monthly balance sheet reconciliations
  • Financial Reporting and stock analysis
  • Preparation of statutory returns
  • Ensure proper internal controls in line with SarbanesOxley
  • Assist in budget preparation and variance analysis.
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Qualified accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) - will suit a Newly/Recently Qualified keen to make the first move into Industry
  • Advanced Excel skillsand strong financial systems experience
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
