VANRATH are delighted to be working with a successful wholesale business based in Greater Belfast who are currently recruiting a Management Accountant to join their team on a 12-month contract. This role is initially set to cover a period of maternity and will report to the Financial Controller, taking responsibility for preparing the monthly management accounts, in line with month end timescales.

About you

• Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or Qualified by Experience
• Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for details
• Excellent communication skills to liaise with non-finance staff
• Available at short notice

What you'll do

• Preparation of monthly management accounts for multiple branches
• Preparation of variance analysis to assist with decision making processes
• Preparation and input of journals for month end process and preparation of monthly back up schedules
• VAT returns
• Stock reconciliations
