VANRATH are pleased to be working on behalf of our client, a successful business in the Randalstown area who are recruiting a Management Accountant to join their team, on an initial interim contract for a period of 3 months.

The Management Accountant will play a crucial role in the financial planning and analysis across the business, this is an opportunity to provide valuable financial insights and support the strategic direction of the business. You will take responsibility for a small finance team, managing daily workloads to ensure completion of assigned tasks.

About you

• Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA) is highly desirable.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a similar role.
• Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Immediately available

What you'll do

• Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Develop and manage budgets and financial forecasts
• Analyse cost variances and implement cost control measures
• Provide accurate management information, including KPIs and performance metrics
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and maintain robust financial controls
• Collaborate with various departments to support strategic initiatives
