VANRATH are partnered with an established and highly successful group of business based in Belfast city centre. The organisation are currently recruiting a Management Accountant to join their Belfast team on an initial long term interim contract. This would be an excellent foot-in-the-door opportunity, with an organisation who are known for offering longer term contracts to successful interim staff.

Reporting to the Head of Finance, the Management Accountant will be responsible for assisting in the preparation of month end management accounts, including production of full commentary. This is an urgent role for the organisation and it can offer the opportunity for an immediate start.

About you

• Qualified Accountant or Qualified by experience
• Strong MS Excel skills
• Willingness to learn and develop
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Strong month end processing experience
• Available immediately

What you'll do

• Preparation of monthly management accounts
• Preparation of variance analysis to assist with decision making processes
• Attend board meetings as finance spokesperson
• Month end journal reconciliations
• Balance sheet and control account reconciliations
