Client

VANRATH are delighted to be working with a leading construction business in Greater Belfast who are currently recruiting a Management Accountant to join their team for a period of 10 - 12 months. This is initially covering a period of maternity and it will play a key role in the monthly management accounts process.

Reporting to the Financial Controller, the Management Accountant will be responsible for leading the preparation of management accounts including reporting to senior management and business partnering with operational managers.

The Ideal Person

If you've 2+ years' experience working in a Management Accountant role:

• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
• Experience in budget preparation
• Knowledge of integrated accounts packages
• Strong communication skills

Responsibilities

As a Management Accountant you will:

• Preparation of monthly management accounts
• Assist in the preparation of financial projects, budgets and cashflows
• Preparing annual revenue and capital budget models
• Monitoring financial progress against targets
• Assist in day to day supervision of finance function
