An international business based in Belfast are currently recruiting a Management Accountant to join their team on a long-term interim contract. Are you a Qualified Accountant who has experience in the full month end process with strong business partnering experience?

Client

VANRATH are recruiting a Management Accountant to join an established, global business based in Belfast on a long-term interim contract. Due to a number of exciting projects this role will be for a period of 18 months, depending on performance throughout the contract there is an opportunity to secure a permanent role.

Reporting to the Group FC, the Management Accountant will be responsible for ensuring the timely production of the month end accounts, including preparing board packs and business partnering with operational managers. This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially minded individual to join a business who are continually looking at improving their productivity.

Due to the nature of the interim market, candidates on a reduced notice period of c.4 weeks would be at an advantage.

The Ideal Person

If you've 2+ years' PQE and are an experienced Management Accountant;

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
  • Strong reporting skills
  • Ability to work productively and flexibly while meeting deadlines
  • Strong work ethic and comfortable in a deadline driven industry
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills

Responsibilities

As a Management Accountant you will:

  • Timely and accurate month end account production
  • Cost management delivery
  • Establish strong relationships with outsourced financial partners
  • Assist with the preparation of year end financial statements
  • Monthly reconciliations of P&L and balance sheet
