Salary £16.81 - £19.10 per hour

Maintenance Technician / Maintenance Engineer
Vanrath are recruiting for an experience Maintenance Technician ideally with an electrical bias to join our FMCG manufacturing client based in Ballymena.

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager you will be responsible for

  • Planned preventative, predictive and breakdown maintenance, repairs, refurbishment, installation, improvements and modification or upgrade to plant and services
  • Strive towards continuous improvement of all machinery and equipment
  • Carry out all engineering work to high Engineering, Quality, Safety and Hygienic standards.
  • Utilize the CMMS fully


Working hours will be alternate weeks of 5am - 1.30pm & 12noon - 8.30pm, Salary in return will be £16.81 for single skill maintenance and £19.10 for duel skilled.

Criteria

  • Time served in either Electrical or Mechanical skill set
  • 2 - 3 years' experience
  • Practical experience gained within engineering function
