Are you a seasoned Mechanical Maintenance Manager ready for a new challenge? Our client is a leading name in manufacturing, and is on the lookout for a talented individual to drive our Mechanical Maintenance team to unparalleled success. Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and supervise a team of 20+ Mechanical Engineers to meet departmental KPIs.
  • Train, mentor, and inspire our mechanical team to achieve excellence.
  • Reduce downtime and boost operational efficiency through effective equipment management.
  • Play a key role in factory expansion and the installation of new equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with safe working practices and regulatory standards.
  • Manage departmental costs within budget while maintaining optimal performance.
  • Engage technically with suppliers and equipment manufacturers to ensure smooth operations.
  • Oversee the efficient sourcing and inventory management of spare parts.



Knowledge / experience

  • At least 5 years of experience leading maintenance teams in a manufacturing setting.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver operational results.
  • Proven ability to build, mentor, and motivate a diverse team of engineers.
  • Practical experience with modern maintenance and manufacturing methodologies such as TPM, 5S, and Reliability-Centered Maintenance.
  • Proficient in techniques like 5 Whys and Six Sigma for root cause analysis.
  • Skilled in project management, health and safety standards, and budgetary controls.
  • Experience in managing a diverse range of suppliers.
  • Expertise in delivering training and upskilling programs for engineers and apprentices.
  • Strong competency in budget preparation and monitoring.


  • Ideally, a third-level qualification in an Engineering Discipline (HND/Degree).
  • Possession of IOSH or NEBOSH qualifications is desirable.
  • Experience with AutoCAD/2D design is a plus.
