Our client is a market leader in products manufactured for the construction industry. Renowned for their innovation, quality products, and commitment to excellence. We are currently seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Maintenance Manager to oversee the maintenance operations in our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility.
The Maintenance Manager will be responsible for the planning, coordination, and execution of all maintenance activities to ensure optimal operation of manufacturing equipment and facilities. This role requires a proactive leader with a strong background in maintenance management within a manufacturing environment.
About the role:
- Develop and implement maintenance policies and procedures to ensure efficient operations.
- Plan and schedule maintenance activities to minimise downtime and disruptions.
- Supervise and manage a team of maintenance technicians, providing training and support.
- Oversee the maintenance of all manufacturing equipment, including preventive, corrective, and emergency repairs.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a culture of safety within the maintenance team.
- Manage the maintenance budget, including parts and supplies inventory.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless production processes.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and efficiency.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and prepare regular reports on maintenance activities.
About you:
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Manager in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing equipment, maintenance procedures, and safety regulations.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
- Proficiency in using maintenance management software and tools.
- Strong organisational and planning abilities.
- Level 3 qualification in Engineering discipline
