Maintenance Manager

Salary: £60,000 - £65,000 plus bonus

This role offers the chance to oversee a team of engineers on a large-scale site, driving efficiency and reliability in a growing production environment.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Lead and manage a team of engineers to ensure optimal equipment performance.

  • Develop and implement maintenance strategies to support increased production.

  • Oversee planned and reactive maintenance to minimise downtime.

  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the maintenance department.

  • Collaborate with senior management to support business growth.

  • Maintain accurate records and oversee spare parts management.

Essential Criteria:


  • Strong engineering background within a manufacturing environment.

  • Proven experience in maintenance management and team leadership.

  • Ability to implement and oversee maintenance schedules and reliability programs.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a hands-on approach.

  • Strong knowledge of health and safety standards.

Desirable Skills:


  • Experience working with heavy plant machinery.

  • Exposure to large-scale production environments.

  • Familiarity with automated systems and PLCs.
