Electrical Maintenance Technician
VANRATH are working with a local company looking to take on an Electrical Maintenance Technician. They are market leaders in the mineral and quarry processing industry supplying customers UK wide.

About your next role
- Repairs and maintenance of a wide range of production plant and machinery
- Fault finding, testing and the removal or adjustment of existing fittings, fixtures, and parts.
- Assist the Maintenance Engineer to ensure that adequate stock levels are maintained for all spare part lists
- Ensure records are completed accurately.
- Manage breakdowns to minimise downtime.
- Adhere to existing working practices and procedures
- Undertake relevant training and development activities
Essential Criteria
- A 3rdlevel qualification in Engineering or equivalent.
- HND/HNC in Mechanical Engineering, and/or time served Mechanical/Electrical background.
- Electrical maintenance experience
- 3 years' experience gained in a manufacturing environment or similar role.
Desirable Criteria
- Mechanical drive systems.
- Control & Automation systems experience.
- Pneumatic & hydraulic systems.
- LEN methodologies experience.
- Inverter drives, HMIs, and PLC's (Siemens)
- Full driving license essential.
