About you

  • NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Engineering, with a proven track record as a time-served electrical and/or mechanical engineer
  • Minimum of 3 years' post-apprenticeship experience in a maintenance engineering role
  • Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills across mechanical and electrical systems
  • Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental best practices
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating reliability and proactive problem-solving skills


What you'll do

  • Conduct mechanical and electrical maintenance and repairs on production equipment and site machinery
  • Develop and implement planned preventative maintenance (PPM) schedules to increase equipment reliability
  • Provide technical support for site facilities, plant services, and utilities
  • Ensure all machinery and equipment comply with safety legislation and standards
  • Maintain detailed maintenance records and documentation in line with quality protocols
  • Collaborate with operations teams to optimise efficiency and minimise downtime
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across maintenance and production processes
