A well-established manufacturing company in Derry is currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Electrician to join their engineering team. This is a fantastic opportunity to secure a day shift role in a modern, fast-paced production environment - offering excellent work-life balance and long-term stability.


The Role:


As Maintenance Electrician, you'll be responsible for ensuring all electrical systems and production equipment are maintained to the highest standard, supporting both reactive and planned maintenance across the site.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out electrical maintenance, fault finding, and repair across all plant machinery and systems.
  • Perform scheduled preventative maintenance (PPM) to minimise downtime and improve reliability.
  • Respond quickly to breakdowns and take appropriate corrective actions.
  • Work closely with production and engineering teams to support continuous improvement.
  • Ensure all work complies with health & safety standards and company procedures.
  • Update maintenance records and assist in identifying long-term solutions to recurring issues.

What You'll Need:

  • Time-served electrician with NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Installation/Maintenance.
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
  • Proven experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
  • Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a small engineering team.
  • A proactive and safety-conscious approach to work.
