M&E Project Manager (Contract)

Location: Wicklow
Contract Type: Fixed-Term / Contract
Working Hours: Monday - Friday
Salary: Attractive and commensurate with experience




About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled M&E Project Manager to lead and deliver major projects with a minimum value of £15 million and above. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all phases of M&E project delivery - from design coordination through to completion - ensuring that all works meet the highest standards of safety, quality, and performance.




Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage large-scale M&E projects (£15m+) from inception to completion.

  • Coordinate mechanical and electrical design, procurement, installation, and commissioning activities.

  • Oversee and manage project teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to achieve project goals.

  • Monitor progress, control budgets, and ensure projects are delivered on time and within cost.

  • Maintain excellent communication with clients, consultants, and key stakeholders.

  • Ensure all work complies with health, safety, and environmental regulations.




Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years' experience managing M&E projects of significant value (£15m+).

  • Strong technical understanding of both mechanical and electrical systems.

  • Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, and multidisciplinary teams.

  • Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.

  • Degree or relevant professional qualification in Building Services, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering preferred.
