Are you a strong technical leader with experience in managing complex M&E operations? We're working with a public sector client that's responsible for one of Northern Ireland's most strategically important estates - and they're looking for a Mechanical & Electrical Infrastructure Manager to lead a growing, forward-thinking team.

The Role:

This is a senior position responsible for managing a multidisciplinary team covering asset maintenance, engineering support, planning, and stores management. The role blends leadership, strategic planning, operational delivery, and a strong focus on safety and compliance.

You'll be working on a wide range of infrastructure projects, helping to modernise systems, support decarbonisation efforts, and improve overall service delivery across a busy and dynamic estate.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Leading a team of engineers, planners, and technical staff
  • Overseeing mechanical and electrical maintenance and upgrades
  • Driving innovation in asset management and supply chain operations
  • Supporting energy and sustainability initiatives
  • Managing budgets, procurement, and team development
  • Embedding a strong health & safety culture across all operations

What We're Looking For:

  • Degree-qualified in mechanical/electrical engineering (chartered preferred)
  • 5-8 years' experience in a senior technical management role
  • Proven safety leadership (e.g., IOSH, NEBOSH, CDM regulations)
  • Strong leadership and team development skills
  • Experience with procurement and supply chain processes
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Budget management experience and data-informed decision making
