About the Role

A well-established and highly respected Lisburn law firm is seeking a talented and motivated Litigation Solicitor to join its busy and dynamic team. This is an outstanding opportunity to join a thriving practice with a strong defence focus, particularly in road traffic accident (RTA) and personal injury (PI) claims.

The role has arisen due to sustained growth and high demand, giving the successful candidate exposure to a varied and stimulating caseload, while working alongside a supportive team of experienced professionals.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a wide range of defence litigation matters, with a primary focus on RTA and PI claims.

• Handle cases from instruction through to settlement or trial, ensuring all deadlines and procedural requirements are met.

• Provide clear, strategic advice to clients on legal risks, options, and strategies; liaise effectively with insurers, opposing counsel, and clients.

• Draft high-quality legal documents, including pleadings, witness statements, and settlement correspondence.

• Represent clients at hearings and court proceedings when required.

• Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain the firm's high standards of service and efficiency.

Candidate Requirements

• Qualified Solicitor in Northern Ireland.

• Experience in defence litigation, ideally with exposure to RTA and PI matters.

• Strong advocacy, drafting, and negotiation skills.

• Commercially aware, with excellent client management and communication abilities.

• Comfortable working efficiently in a fast-paced, high-demand environment.
